Morning Symphony: Good Chevy Gone Bad – This Turbo Caprice Sends Everyone Home!

Happiness is a Chevrolet Caprice that comes out swinging with genuine menace. The boxy shape, the authoritative face, the mannerisms of a monster street racer all work for us. Think of it as the car form of the “cop gone bad” character. Once, this Caprice had a clean life. Maybe it was a police car, maybe it just shuttled Grandma Kathy around town. But with age, life made it’s impacts and the Caprice turned to a life filled with burned tires, boost and big power figures. The suspension that had been designed with pure comfort in mind was now planting tires into tracks, the engine putting out well over four times the original horsepower and far more than any one car could ever want or need. The clean cut, squared off car was now a brawler, it’s once quiet voice replaced with the rowdy call of turbochargers and an engine much younger than the rest of the body. It’s warfare at these tracks, and this Caprice is primed for battle. It wants war. It wants to win.
