At LSFest Texas last year we had some pretty awesome cars show up for the No Prep drag races that were held on the pit road at Texas Motor Speedway. With multiple classes, including Big Tire, Small Tire, Trucks, and more, we had some killer action and some quick cars on the property. And while several big name street and no-prep racers from Texas were on hand, there were also a fair number from Oklahoma, including some of your favorite 405 gang. Shawn and the Murder Nova and 187 crew were on hand with a couple of rides, including the newly rehabbed 1955 Chevy everyone loves to see. On a small tire, sitting pretty, and ready to haul ass it showed up pretty much untested and Shawn put it through its paces. The car got quicker and quicker every time down the track and while this was a No Time event, there is nobody on site that didn’t realize this cars was really starting to move by the end of the racing action.
