The NHRA Nevada Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of the two NHRA National Events that run in Vegas each year. The earlier race in the year is the NHRA Vegas 4-Wide Nationals, but this one here is just a two wide race. This one is special though because, as the second to the last NHRA National Event of the Year, Championships can be won or lost at this race. There are tons of occasions where this race has mattered more than most in the points chase for the NHRA Camping World World Championships and this year it really matters again as multiple classes are going to come down to the wire to crown a champ.
