The look of satisfaction on the faces of the Ray Wilkings, General Manager of Auto Club Speedway, Tracy Fischle, Track Manager at Auto Club Dragway, and Mel Roth, President of the Pacific Street Car Association, was almost as exciting as the racing at Fontana this weekend. The three of them have worked tirelessly to get racing back in Fontana, and we were tickled pink to see tire smoke, hear engines, and see the fans eating hot dogs and enjoying the show. We’re looking forward to even more great racing at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, and will be there for multiple events this year.

After rain cancelled the first PSCA race of the year in Fontana, this weekends event became the “official” return of PSCA Racing to Fontana, and it was awesome to see. 10.5, Drag Radial, Outlaw 8.5, Wild Street, Hot Street, Open Comp and Bracket racers galore hit the ground with a vengeance. The pits had a lot of Jr. Dragsters in them as well this weekend and thanks to Mel and the PSCA and Auto Club Dragway Staff, they had their own Jr. Dragster pit area.

At each event that they hold at Fontana, the crowd of racers and fans keeps growing. We’re excited to see the support of the Auto Club Speedway staff, Auto Club of Southern California, Southern California Racers pay off for the racers and fans.
