Race Week Rocky Mountain Edition Final Day! Averages Are Set And It Is All About The Shootouts!

Rocky Mountain Race Week is unlike any other Drag and Drive event because the last race day has nothing to do with your week long average. Once racers arrive at the final track, Pueblo Motorsports Park this year, to turn in their final timeslips and lock in their average, the heads up racing begins. That’s right, heads up racing at a drag and drive event, something you normally don’t see. The heads up shootouts are not based on class, but rather on racer’s best time during the week. There are several different shootouts, one for the quickest 8, then the next quick 16, etc. Overall it’s a good time had by all and everyone loves the format. Plus we get to see some of these cars run as quick as they can rather than just “quick enough” to win based on average.
