Sweet, delicious overkill. That’s what you are looking at right here…it’s a BMW 1-series four-door hatchback that is stuffed to the gills with BMW’s S85 5.0L V-10…the monster you could find in BMW M5s and M6s between 2005-2010. Stock, it’s a 500 horsepower screamer and in the significantly smaller 1-series, would make for a fun day. Then notice the twin implements on either side, behind the headlights. Together, they make up a G-Power Bi-Compressor kit. The two superchargers together bump up the horsepower to a neat and even 750 horses. That would be a handful on any surface, but the BMW was run at the “Rolling50 Deutsche Meisterschaft” event in Germany, which is all about roll-racing, and as you can see, the weather was not cooperating with the racers. That doesn’t stop them from racing the car one bit, but it does mean that some of the launches are pretty hairy! Is it the ultimate driving machine? We don’t know, but we wonder what it’s like to punch the throttle on this hatch!
