SEMA Drag Race! Finnegan, Fred, Jessi And A Guy From Super Street Take To The Tarmac In An All-Nissan Battle!

Hopefully seeing “Nissan” in the title isn’t enough for you to ignore this, because there are four good reasons for checking out this video. Since Nissan sponsored The TEN Network’s coverage of SEMA this year, they naturally had to play a little ball when it came to the fun stuff, but that isn’t all bad: while Nissan’s current lineup does nothing but instill a yawn, they have cranked out awesome cars in their history, and between the four hosts, you are going to get one hell of a spread.

Jessi brings in a bone-stock Nissan 370Z Nismo, the one car we could easily walk away from, but it’s Jessi so we’ll let it go. Mike Sabonuchi from Super Street Magazine decided to get revenge for last year’s humiliation (he was the guy in a Chevy Spark up against a Hellcat Challenger and Finnegan’s ’55 Chevy) by going to the deep end of the pool and coming back out with an ethanol-drinking, 1,100 horsepower Nissan GT-R, claiming the top horsepower figure and bringing all-wheel-drive to the mix. Finnegan grabbed the car we would happily take for our own: a 1970 Datsun 240Z with an RB26 swap (that means Skyline motor), and as for Fred…well, somehow the chipper Dirt Every Day host managed to convince someone that loaning him an old factory-sponsored Class 1 race truck was a good idea.

Make your call, place your bets, and press play to see who takes it!
