370 miles is a real drive, and apparenlty more than a few of these racers could handle during Sick Week 2026. The drive from South Georgia all the way to Bradenton is a real drive and sometimes racers take these distances for granted. Make no mistake, 50 miles and 350 miles are NOT the same thing. If you break your 350 mile trip into 50 mile sections, with an hour in between, then they are the same. But it isn’t just cooling systems that work hard on a drag and drive car. Watch. f
Video Description:
Drive Day sent the field from South Georgia Motorsports Park down to Bradenton, putting in serious street miles as the week started to wear on cars and teams. Compared to earlier days, this one went relatively smooth – very little carnage on the road but it still had a big impact on the leaderboard. Two more 5-second contenders are officially out, leaving just one car with a real shot at breaking the 5.99 fastest drag-and-drive record and chasing the overall 6.17 average.
