We’ve seen a lot of ice drag and ice racing in general, but this is the first time we’ve seen snow drags! It’s like sand drags but colder! This is some cool stuff right here because it’s also a bit of a hillclimb. There is something to be said for off-road machines with big paddles or cut boggers shooting huge rooster tails in the snow. If you ever watch sand or mud drags videos, then you’ll find these machines super familiar and seeing them in the snow is really something special.
When I saw this video I wondered what the racing would be like, but then I watched it. With the snow being considerably lighter than sand or mud, it’s kind of amazing that they run as hard as they do. I’d sure as hell jump behind the wheel of one of these machines though, because it sure does look like fun.
