Sneaky Turkey: This V8-swapped Mazda E-series Is The Package Hauler You Deserve!

Sneaky Turkey: This V8-swapped Mazda E-series Is The Package Hauler You Deserve!

Still burping up turkey-scented reminders of how you promised yourself that you wouldn’t overdo it this year? Yeah…don’t feel bad, so are we. Thanksgiving is over, and that means that for the next few weeks you will be inundated with Christmas muzak, scenes of snowy evergreen forests, fat men in red velour suits and beards laughing while promising all sorts of fun toys, wreaths, decorated trees and just what you need right after Thanksgiving…more food! Welcome to the Christmas rush, ladies and gentlemen. It’s not gonna get any easier from here until December 26th.

Luckily for me, “Black Friday” shopping isn’t a thing at BangShift Mid-West. We are shopping for gifts for others, don’t get me wrong, but if you think I’m going to any of the stores around Bowling Green in anything less than a derby-prepared 1974 Plymouth Fury, you’re out of your head. If I had to actually go shopping, I would love to have the Cadillac limo back, if only because it had the storage space in the back and I didn’t really care what happened to that barge. Instead, we have been ordering a lot of stuff straight to our house. Our UPS guy is quickly learning to hate my guts with some of the stuff I have shipped and I’m pretty sure my FedEx delivery guy is moments away from a nervous breakdown in general. If I got stuck hauling around tons of packages in box truck that can barely heat itself, I would be a bit frayed, too. Instead, maybe a different delivery vehicle should be used instead. I kind of like the flatbed setup of this Mazda E-series and I’m loving the concept of the fast delivery program that it seems to handle with no issues. I’m also willing to bet that my delivery person would be ten times happier to drive around all day, too!
