Street Car Takeover Bowling Green! The Throwdown Of Big Boys Was A Battle!

Street Car Takeover Bowling Green! The Throwdown Of Big Boys Was A Battle!

While Chad and I watched pair after pair of machines try to make mincemeat out of each other in St. Louis, the Street Car Takeover Bowling Green event was going down, with Beech Bend Raceway hosting some wild action of it’s own. Roll racing, burnout contests, and all the normal fun is typical, but it was the no-prep race that brought out some interesting machines, like the “Sweet Pea” Chevy Nova and the black street sweeper Mustang of Casey Flora that we saw on the dyno doing early tuning last summer. A big race like SCSN brings out numbers and big hitters, but find yourself at a small track with a group of racers hell-bent on taking home whatever the prize happens to be and you’ll see some shit go down, folks!

I’m not saying that I’d rather have been in Bowling Green than St. Louis this time around…far from it. I’m just saying that I wish I could’ve been in two places at once, switching from Pro Mods and X275 cars to a fourth-gen Camaro that really knows how to get down and one of the more wicked GM trucks running around the area. Hit play below, and tell me you wouldn’t be on the line watching, too.
