Sub Zero: Watch As John Bonner’s Small-Block SN-95 Mustang Steps Out For 2018

There are a lot of Mustangs out on dragstrips around the world that are the devil. They shouldn’t be able to do what they do…the contact patch they run is too small, the cars are wound too tight, and so on and so forth. All of that is complete disbelief for what these cars can and will do on a regular basis, which is rip the strip quickly in the pursuit of another trip to the winner’s area. This blue SN-95 Mustang belongs to John Bonner and is a regular in the 10.5 racing scene. The car, “Sub Zero”, runs a small block (and that’s all that this author can locate!) and makes damn good use out of each and every last cubic inch under the hood. No front end lift necessary, no radical turbocharging nonsense…just a bit of spray and an arrow-straight blast down the quarter mile. That’s all you need, really. And if you need to see what’s in store for this car, we’d suggesting looking towards Lights Out 9…we’re willing to bet it makes an appearance if nothing happens between now and then!
