With all motorsports series nearing the end of their 2015 season, some events are releasing partial schedules for the quickly approaching 2016 racing season.
Mark your 2016 calendars, now! Auto Club Famoso Raceway announced that the Good Vibrations March Meet is set to take place March 3–6, 2016.
The March Meet traditionally kicks off the NHRA Heritage Series and features Fifteen Nostalgia classes including Nitro Funny Car, Top Fuel Dragster, Nitro Burning Fuel Altered, plus index categories and the ever-popular Hot Rod class.
With well over thirty Nitro Funny Cars expected, the Good Vibrations March Meet has grown to be the finest collection of nitro cars as well as resurrecting the fuel altered class with the addition of a 6.00 index allowing every imaginable engine and chassis combination to race Heads-Up!
Top Fuel dragster stalwarts from all over the country will also bring their freshened combinations and latest parts to compete at one of the best-attended events of the drag racing year.
Fuel and alcohol Dragsters of just about any recipe compete in a variety of classes, as well.
Hundreds of Gassers and wheelstanding Stock bodied racecars bring real variety to the non-stop action.
The Good Vibrations March Meet is the largest drag race of its kind in the world and in 2016 will be celebrating 58 years of quarter-mile drag racing.
