The Final Bash – Get It? Cleetus And Cars Went Off The Rails In Houston!

The Final Bash – Get It? Cleetus And Cars Went Off The Rails In Houston!

Oh, the weather outside is gray now, and they say it’ll snow any day now, but as long as there are tires to fry, ring the hell out of it until it dies! SEMA is gone, the weather has gone to hell in a handbasket and for most of the country, it’s time to pack up the toys for the year and start planning out winter builds and to fix up what you broke throughout the last few months of fun. But in the eyes of Cleetus, it’s an excuse for one last all-out, completely and utterly unhinged blast of fun that has just about no rules whatsoever. The event is Cleetus and Cars, and it’s the closest thing to automotive anarchy we know of. There’s racing…except this year, when the rains kicked in and shortchanged the time allowed on the drag strip for folks who were serious about laying down lap times. There’s the tug-of-war, which might be the only time that Leroy the Savage will ever get it’s ass dragged by a clapped-out PT Cruiser. There’s the burnout contest that saw properly mental skids being laid down, a couple that could even fly in Australia, and then there’s the pièce de résistance, the demolition drag races. Part racing comedy troupe, part anger management therapy and all in good fun, Cleetus and Cars has to be one of the most riotous times you can have with a screaming engine in the background!
