TX2K20 is a pain to get into if you want to run. Normally, spectating the event isn’t such a problem, but with the world collectively losing it’s head, this year the event was held without spectators. How bad does that suck? Think “dog around the vacuum cleaner” bad and go from there. But at least the event was held at all, and at least the 1320Video crew rolled out to cover it. The situation wasn’t ideal, but without a doubt everything involved with cars was very ideal. This is fast, underscored: Supras with their IRS intact running six-second quarter mile times with speeds well over 200 miles per hour, H-pattern cars in the six-second passes including the Grubb Worm Camaro that Tick Performance threatens everybody in the other lane with, and more.
With everything happening lately, we want to point out something: racers are ready. Tracks are ready. Once all of this blows over, once tracks are back open, you need to get back out there, you need to get in the seat…either on the side of the track or behind the wheel, it doesn’t matter. TX2K20 is the thermometer for what 2020 can be. You’ve got the extra time now…double-check your stuff and get ready to raise hell the moment these restrictions are lifted!
Doesn’t suck so much for them , rich kids with their toys . While medical staff and us , truck drivers are making double shifts trying to keep everything afloat
