Watching Grudge Racing At Sydney Dragway Can Ease Cabin Fever Symptoms!

Saying that I have cabin fever isn’t quite correct. Cabin fever hits when you have been snowed in and you want to be anywhere than stuck inside the house. Luckily, this winter has been, so far, pretty decent in that regard. No, what I’m going through is track withdrawal. You see, right about now would be perfect for a semi-serious street car to make some runs…the density altitude at Beech Bend has been in the negative thousands all day today. I could’ve ripped the seats out of the Chrysler, threw the drag radials in the back, and with one or two good track hits, have nailed a new personal best. But Beech Bend doesn’t open up for another exactly one month, which means that between now and then I have to accept that any drag racing I will be enjoying will be from someplace sunnier, someplace warmer. Y’know, Australia, the land where a V8 can line up against a rotary-powered machine and the race can be anybody’s game. For another month, I’ll dream as I watch V8-powered Mitsubishis and psychotic Skylines go against each other. And if you’re stuck at home this weekend and have realized that football isn’t worth it (blasphemy, I know…) then we kindly share the footage of some test and tune footage from Sydney Dragway with you. We are curious…which machine most interests you?
