We’ve focused on one car that’s at Uncle Tony’s Garage, the “Bottle Rocket” Dodge Coronet that is a war of weight versus the appearances of a stock (ish) Chrysler product. But it isn’t the only machine that has been floating around the shop. In fact, there are quite a few vehicles floating around, but the channel has been in need of a shop for some of their other projects…which Tony finally got here a couple of weeks ago. With the shop ready for work, one of the cars that has preceeded even the YouTube channel itself has found a place where work can continue.
This is a late 1960s Plymouth Barracuda, an A-body version, the fastback version. I met this car when it first appeared in Tony’s care, and it was a sweetheart, a well-aged, well cared for car that the owner wanted to turn into a period-correct beast in the vein of the Hurst-built BO29 Hemi-powered machines, the likes of which were supposed to go straight into Super Stock racing.
