Growing up in a stick shift racing family, and daily driving a stick car, means that stick cars hold a special place in my heart. I love anything with a clutch pedal, and while my current drag cars are all automatics I sure do appreciate those that have three pedals. I was stoked to see this video, where Kyle and the 1320Video crew are sharing their adventures at the Wisconsin Outlaw Stick Shift Challenge. This race is truly something special, and is held at a track that touches anyone and everyone that visits it. I’m talking about Great Lakes Dragaway, which has so much history, so many record setting runs, and so many characters that I can’t imagine a better place for a race like this.

You know it’s going to be a good video when you have some of the worlds fastest stick shift cars going head to head for some big money. We made our way to Great Lakes Dragaway for the Wisconsin Outlaw Stick Shift Challenge and boy we’re we in for a treat. There were impressively fast passes and upsets left and right. It was a good reminder that it’s anybody’s game in stick-shift racing, and it’s not always the top qualifiers in the final rounds.
