Can you blame me for having rally racing on the brain after seeing Tedrick Mealy’s photos from the inaugural Northwest RallySprint at Dirtfish Rally School? I don’t normally need a lot of prodding for any kind of racing, but seeing cars playing in a familiar habitat (the wet and nasty version of Washington State that I am familiar with) has had it branded on my brain for the last few days. Naturally, I wondered if there was footage of the fun on YouTube, and I was lucky enough to find two videos. One of them is basically techno music set to racing footage, but this clip is as honest of a video as you can get: a corner worker’s capture of the action. There’s quite a few missing cars in the film (I didn’t see the Maverick, for one) but you get an idea of the fun that was had. What do you think, BangShifters: should we be looking for more local rally events?

Looks like fun! Marked my calender for next year!
