It’s going to sound funny coming from me, but there are some cars that are just too racecar for the street. I’ve owned a few of them, and can tell you that while they are a riot some of the time, they are not fun all of the time just because they can be a little to aggressive, loud, uncomfortable, or obnoxious. 1,000 to the tire street car sounds like it would be soooo much fun, and it is, but it is also a bit tough when it comes to some of the comforts.
Can those comforts be had at that power level? Sure, just look at some of the newest supercars out there, but it takes a special car and the right combo to make it really work.
Has Ferrari done it again?
Video Description:
Ferrari’s done it again. The 2026 296 Speciale takes the 296 GTB and cranks everything to eleven—868 hp, less weight, more noise, more feel. It’s a race car you can actually live with, delivering pure Ferrari intensity without the punishment.
