Let’s face it, the Goodwood Member’s Meet draws a jillion dollars worth of cars each and every year. I mean I can’t even imagine the amount of money that is on track or in the paddock at any one time. So it would be natural to assume that these guys and gals driving them would just be cruising around the track to look cool, but not really beating on them and trying to win. But, that would be a bad assumption! These cars are getting thrown around the track, sideways, and the drivers are absolutely giving it their all to cross the finish line first. And that means that there are some pretty incredible passes, or overtakes, as they call them in jolly old England.
And while they are certainly trying not to rub each other like they might have when some of these cars were “new”, that doesn’t mean the action isn’t close or hair raising in many cases.

The 82nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport was full of great racing which inevitably leads to some brave overtakes. Every race had overtakes, so whittling it down to 15 was always going to be tricky.
