The Bizzarrini 5300 GT is one sexy machine from a time when European sports cars as a whole were some pretty sexy machines. It’s hard to argue that the mid to late 1960’s really did have some of the smoothest and sexiest lines in automotive history, and when a former Ferrari and Alfa Romeo engineer decides he’s going to create his own sports car in the 1960s, you know it is probably going to be something special. This one surely is.
Check out the video from Goodwood Road and Racing, because this one is cool as hell.
Video Description:
Designed by former Ferrari and Alfa Romeo engineer Giotto Bizzarrini, the Bizzarrini 5300 GT has become a bit of a Goodwood favourite in recent years. This car competed in the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans and has one of the sweetest V8 engine sounds of the era.
We spoke to James Thorpe who was driving the car at the 81st Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport on just makes it so special.
