Thanks to Jason Brady and the guys at Ridetech we’ve got a cool photo gallery of early and late model muscle running around the autocross and road course at Putnam Park in Indiana for the 2014 Midwest Muscle Car Challenge. This year’s event once again featured the heavy hitters of the Pro Touring world, including Bret Voelkel and crew from Ridetech, Danny Popp in the Lingenfelter L28, Kyle and Stacy Tucker, Brian Finch, Randy Johnson, The Farringtons, and many more. In fact, our buddy John Kundrat drove his ’64 Corvette from Las Vegas south into LA, up the coast of California, and across the country to get to Indiana and run at the Midwest Muscle Car Challenge before heading home to Ohio. Now that is good hot rodding dedication.!

Putnam Park is an awesome racing facility. It is so nicely kept that it looks like someone put a road course in the middle of a golf course. Except for a couple of small spots, it has plenty of run off, and the track features fun challenging corners and big speed down the front straight and into turn one where you can carry some big speed around and toward the back half of the course. We have had the pleasure of riding around Putnam a couple of times, and it’s good.
