There is no finer place to start off the Goodguys season than sunny Scottsdale Arizona, and the 2017 season opener certainly was not lacking in sunshine and warmth. With temps in the high 80’s and low 90’s, the weather was quite literally perfect. And along with the perfect weather came record numbers of hot rods, street rods, street machines, and trucks cruising the WestWorld grounds. The place was packed with cars from all over the United States and Canada, and it was apparent that everyone was ready to blow the dust off their hot rods and get some fuel flowing.
Action on the autocross was just as hot and heavy, with heavy hitters and newbies alike laying down some rubber and throwing their cars into the corners to test the limits of both car and driver.
As you check out all the photos in our first of two galleries, remember that there are 20 Goodguys shows all over the country in 2017 and that means one is close to wherever you and your hot rod call home. Visit Good-guys.com and register for whichever event you choose, pack the family into your ride, and enjoy the road trip and show.
Chad, Any photo\’s of my \’66 F250 on track? The bare metal Eco Powered Truck.
I did take it to Wild Horse Pass this past Friday. Ran a 13.036 @ 104.57
That was a lot of fun! My first time ever on a Autocross track. Hoping to return in November but with a better tire and a few improvements.
What a beautiful AMX ! Is this car featured anywhere. Would like to see more/specs.
