This 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Wide Body RS Tribute Is Spectacular In Black And Gold

I’m not a huge Porsche fan, but I do love an older 911, the 930 Slant Nose, and the occasional 944 or 928. There are other Porsche’s that have raised an eyebrow, and I know that others out there are more famous for one reason or another, but for me the 911 is THE Porsche. I know the numbers have changed over the years, but the Porsche’s shaped like this will always be a 911 to me. Another bit of Porsche perfection for me is the traditional Porsche 5 spoke wheels. Big, small, narrow, wide, it doesn’t matter. These are THE wheels for me too. What is not normally a me thing is gold. I’m just not a gold car or wheels fan. But this combo here works, and works well.

This is one super slick Porsche and I would drive the holy crap out of it without any issue. It has a ton of mods, a ton of information in the ad, and we’re sure this is one of those cars that puts a smile on your face during the test drive and sucks the money right out of your wallet afterwards. Check it out.

I am the 2nd owner. I purchased the car from its original owner in January 2016. Car has a 3.6 Liter engine from a 1991 911 (964). The motor was completely rebuilt with all new Pistons and rods. (20k in receipts for the rebuild) Also, we added OEM steel 930 turbo flares. Car’s paint was stripped down to raw metal, steel turbo flares were butt welded and repainted at a professional body shop. A completely new interior, exterior, suspension, and Brembo Big brakes were installed. The car has fiberglass front and rear bumpers, hood, and ducktail and weighs in around 2200lbs. The purpose of this build was to make this as drivers oriented and extract the maximum that an air cooled 911 could offer. We used only the best parts by the best people in the business.

I have a 2-inch thick binder of invoices and receipts totaling over $100,000 that went into completing the car.

Car does NOT leak any oils or liquids, it drives very fast and stable.

  1. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

I had to read this three times just to make sure there wasn’t an LS under the engine cover! What’s up lads – have you all kicked the Loathsome Slug habit or what?

  2. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

In order to have a lobotomy you first need to have a brain – mine ran out of my head years ago in protest at the things I wanted to put in it….
