I have to admit I didn’t know that this particular Gallardo was anything special until reading the listing. But apparently it is, and apparently spending just under $200,000 for it is a good price. This sucker only has 50 miles on it, and all but a couple laps of that are cruising around. It’s never been off track, never been crashed, it’s in mint condition and still has the plastic wrapping on the interior. The outside is a wrap and can be easily removed to put whatever you want on it. We’d put something totally redneck on it and go racing in the North American Super Trofeo series. Like totally redneck.

For those of you who are familiar with this car it is still being campaigned in the Super Trofeo series in North America and may even be continued in the series next year!
I purchased this car NEW from my local dealership with the intention of using it as a track day car but ultimately this triggered a discussion about campaigning it in the North American Super Trofeo series. To make a long story short I ended up purchasing a brand new Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo race car and have since entered the North American series!
Once the decision to race was made I thought I would just keep the Gallardo as a collectible car but I ultimately decided that this doesn’t make much sense. Unlike a collectible street car there would really be no situation where I would take the Gallardo race car out over the Huracan race car. In every testing situation I would be driving the Huracan.
So there are really two options in my opinion. Keep the car as a collectible since it’s the last remaining new, unraced, undamaged Gallardo Super Trofeo in the world or just sell it. So I decided that I would try to sell it first. This is not a fire sale nor a low ball situation. The car cost $300,000 when new. There are no more new cars like this anywhere in the world for sale. Used Gallardo Super Trofeo race cars are worth around $200,000 so this is not being priced outrageously considering what it is.
The blue plastic wrap on the cage still remains on the car as it did from the factory. The gray exterior and decals are all removable. It is a vinyl wrap. The selling price also includes an extra set of new wheels with rain tires plus a brand new set of slicks (additional $7500 value). The extra seat in the car is NOT included.
The car is located in my warehouse in Costa Mesa, CA and may be viewed by appointment. There is nothing to say about the car other than it is virtually new. I have been the only person to drive the car on a few laps around the track prior to purchasing my Huracan race car.
Will consider trades that are NOT other race cars or some kind of custom built anything. Will only consider trades for other exotics or luxury cars.
