For Less Than $10,000 We Think This Ford Falcon Could Be A Great Pro Touring Project Buy

I’m not a big Ford Falcon guy, but they are pretty cool little lightweight cars that were the predecessor in many ways to the Mustang. That means a lot of Mustang stuff bolts right in, and with their light weight you can really make them haul the mail. And if you want all the tips and tricks on how to make them work, just ask the Mustang guys like Mike Maier who will gladly tell you. This particular 1963 Ford Falcon Futura was acquired from the original owner family member and started on to be one hell of a cool little hot rod Pro Touring project. Fortunately for everyone reading this, the guy is running out of money and needs to get rid of it.

We think the $9,950 asking price seems pretty good, but figure you can probably get if for somewhere around $8500 and walk away with a project that could be a riot. It’s not finished, we understand that, but the stuff that is done is the expensive stuff. And it has mint condition trim and everything included which will save you a fortune in time, money and effort hitting all the swap meets. We’d seriously be looking at this if we were in the market for an older Ford Pro Touring project, that’s for sure.

Check it out.

Pro Touring Ford Falcon 2

Here is all the info from the seller.

This car has been in the family since it was new. My Grandmother-in-law was the first owner, and drove it till she passed. It is a upscale model of the standard falcon called the “futura“. Clean title, straight pink slip, current registratiin and even insurance on the car. The car was re-imagined in 2013, and a whole lot of money was invested into it. The mod list is far too extensive to confidently list in one sitting, but I’ll try.
-engine swap straight six to 351 Windsor(+Bolt on mods)
-b&m shift kit
-ford 9 inch rear end
-5lug conversion
-4 wheel power disc brakes
-complete aftermarket front subframe and suspension components to update the ride geometry
-scion bucket seats
-“Enkei Falcon” 17×7 18×8 staggered rims with low profile meats
-mandrel bent full flow master single stage exhaust
-22 gallon Mustang mach1 fuel tank (brand new)
– – – – I know im missing stuff…. -_-

Not pictured, but included, is 100% of the undamaged factory trim and chrome. Without a doubt this will impress even the most seasoned enthusiast, but I’ve gotten to the point where I can’t afford to shoulder the build anymore.
