Z Cars are cool. Everyone seems to like them, and they work really good for a variety of applications, from daily driver to road racer to autocross machine and even drag racer. Plus they just look cool, and you can stuff virtually any engine into them regardless of your preference. With that said, the norm lately has been GM LS Engines, which we love, but it is kind of nice to see one that IS NOT an LS Engine Swap for a change since most of the pro touring world has gone that way.
Instead, this 1971 240Z has a killer Nissan Turbo combo that makes big power and makes it a riot to drive. Check out all the details below, along with tons of photos.

NO LOW BALLERS. NO JOY RIDES!!!!
This is quite simply THE best 240Z I have ever seen!
Far from selling this beauty the owner should sweet talk his bank manager into lending him the money to start a business sourcing new and reconditioned 240Z body shells and Nissan Skyline motors and selling exact replicas of this gem. I think that orders for cars would come thick and fast – especially if he gave the keys to his bank manager for a test drive….
I actually agree with you on this one! My top 5 list of dream cars includes a 240 and this one is killer! The only thing that I do not like is the sound that the Nissan motors make. I like my cars to have a nice low groan to them but these Nissans are so high pitched.
Awesome engine choice. It really makes you appreciate the car a lot more. It’s a shame that so little of these cars survived outside of the southwest. Here on the east coast, seeing early import cars out and about is a rarity.
Very Nice
