Pro Touring Camaro Project That Could Be A Screaming Deal!

Pro Touring Camaro Project That Could Be A Screaming Deal!

Okay let me start off by saying that this screaming deal is not cheap. The asking price on this start to a Pro Touring Camaro is almost $37,000. But…the high dollar stuff is done already. Or at least a bunch of it is. The paint and bodywork, LS Swap, etc are all really really nice on this car and would cost at least this much to do. If the fit and finish under this car is as good as up top then I would bolt on some Ridetech goodies and be on my way to the nearest autocross. Sure you could upgrade the seats and put a Tiger Cage in it, and bigger brakes could be good down the road, along with a 6 speed from American Powertrain, but you certainly don’t NEED those things to go out and have fun with this thing right away. We know how much it costs to build a really nice Pro Touring car and can tell you that you could finish this one in your garage for considerably less than half of what it would cost to start with a shell and have it built.

I can be reached at (76O) 8O5-8038. I have a walk around/hear it run video, but it won’t upload for some reason. This is a killer car. Everybody knows how crazy prices have gotten on early Camaros. This is an absolutely beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring car that has the look of a classic first gen, without all the headaches of an old car and is priced far better than most. Spectacular black paint and body. It started as a lifelong High Desert car from Lancaster, California. Nice floors and trunk. Zero rust. Arrow straight and as we all know, black is hardly a forgiving color when it comes to imperfections. Two or three very tiny paint chips that I would have to point out to you. The fit and finish are excellent. The chrome and stainless are nice. It has been extensively upgraded from stock with a fuel injected 5.3 LS engine and 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission. Quick ratio steering, four wheel power disc brakes, big aluminum radiator. The car runs and drives very well. It is fast and fun. It starts first time over every time and settles into a nice, smooth idle. It sounds awesome. It is very mild mannered unless you jump on it and it is very healthy. It does not get hot, even in Southern California traffic. Detroit Speed and Engineering electric RS hideaway headlight kit that blows away the stock set up. They open quickly and easily. The car started out as a base model Camaro, but was re-done with Rally Sport headlights and taillights, Z/28 emblems, and cowl hood. 255-40/18 and 275-40/18s mounted on 18″ Lorenzo wheels. Restored white deluxe Houndstooth interior in excellent condition. Beautiful wood wheel. The dashpad, door panels, carpet, headliner, and dash paint are all very nice. Bucket seats with factory console and gauge package. The speedometer and tachometer have been replaced with Dakota LED gauges with blue lighting. The gauges on the console were re-done to match. It looks cool especially at night. The plug in for the computer is neatly attached to the console for easy access. This is an amazing 69 Camaro that you could not come close to building for the price. I am located in Del Mar, California. The price is firm. Thanks!
