This 1963 Ford Falcon Futura is one cool car. Typically these are “cute” little cars without much attitude, and they are typically not all that “high performance” either. But that can be fixed! Or, you can certainly embrace the cruise vibe and build one like this that has all it needs to be a riot to drive and enjoy.
It’s Ridetech equipped, and almost everything underneath has been rebuilt including suspension, steering, engine, trans, and more. The paint is less than a year old and the interior is clean, what else could you ask for? We’d ask Santa for some Vintage Air and Kicker stuff to make it sound and feel as cool as it looks and then roll from there.
Here is what the seller has to say:
1963 Ford Falcon Futura. Full Ridetech air ride with Airlift v2 autopilot management system. Paint job less than a year old. suspension and steering all rebuild. Rebuilt inline six with a rebuild manual 3 on the tree. Interior in good shape. This is not a show car it is a daily driver. Clean title with current registration. $12,000 or best offer.
Beautiful car even with the straight six if a bit pricey – but shouldn’t the seller have removed the giant sex toy off the hood after pleasuring himself?

‘ Futura ‘ w/ a 6 cyl + 3 spd ????? ……the 63 Futura was mule for the Mustang pieces ….
Usually(as far as I know ) had 260 ci V8 – if a manual 4 speed it was a B/W T10 and nice suspension . My family had one … 289 high performance short block was swapped in mid 60’s w/ a hi rise 4 bbl , dual point distributor , headers , ( quasi Shelby 350 set up = 300+ hp ) taller ( 14″ ) + bigger rear wheels ( stock were 13 ” all around ) . Damn nice little car
Used to out run mid 60’s 289 Hi output stock Mustangs
The Falcon shown IS a 1963…but not the way more desirable mid-year model sold as the 19631/2 designation ….that had the “fastback” rear window slant treatment. (Also offered on 19631/2 Galaxies)
A 19631/2 Falcon Futura (nice trim/bench seat) with a 260 and a T-10 also benefited from the 8″rear end which is a durable rear end up to about 400hp.
Wheels were 5 lug 13’s (5 x 4.5) that could be updated to 14’s or 15’s.
The above vehicle would normally have twice the value of the early 6-banger shown in your article.
Also…remember: Chevy Runs Deep….from Taxpayers.
You guys can feature as many Falcons as you can find. They are beautiful and underrated.
