This Barracuda Project Could Be Just What You Need. The Hard Work Is Done!

This Barracuda Project Could Be Just What You Need. The Hard Work Is Done!

We know this Barracuda project well, because it is owned by our buddy Zak who’s dad is a major contributor here at BangShift.com. In fact Zak himself shoots photos for us at certain events, and we love hanging out in his shop. This was one of those projects that snowballed into a really cool father and son project, but when another car came along at a steal and would fit Zak’s 6’5″ frame better than this little car, it was time for this one to find a new home. This car has had a TON of the hard work done. It has suspension already, and it’s done in a way that won’t piss off all you Mopar freaks. It is caged, in excellent, I mean excellent condition, and it has been smoothed and dechromed of some of the little stuff so it’s pure and cool looking. The only rust was in the lower rear quarters, and that has already been repaired and done right so you have zero rust to deal with. And ALL the trim and glass comes with the car. As does all the mechanisms for the windows.

The car is setup for a small block Mopar, as they had built a 410 inch screamer for it, and a floor shifted 4, 5, or 6 speed. If you want to know how clean and nice this car is, consider this. They built a rotisserie when they got this car and cleaned it all to bare metal. It was then stitch welded for extreme strength underneath, and finally Herculined on the entire bottom of the car so it looks great and will live forever.

We love these little Barracuda’s, and while this one was going to be a handling car, you can most certainly make it anything you want at this point. And at just $5,500 we think it’s a deal considering all the work that has already been done.

Funnily enough I was thinking of Hemi Under Glass – but it will no doubt end up LS under steel. Sadly there are now very few people left out there with the brain cells to source another sweet Mopar motor. I put it down to all the junk food eaten in America and Donald Trump’s chronic flatulence……

What’s Trump have to do with it ??
It could replace the Hemi Under Glass that was wrecked with J Leno as a passanger
