This Pro Touring 1968 Camaro Is Pretty Bitchin. LS, Ridetech, And Near Perfect Paint.

I don’t own pretty cars. Mostly because I can’t afford to make them pretty, or to buy ones that are already pretty. But I am smart enough to know that if you can buy one that is already pretty, even if it is slightly more expensive, you will be way ahead in the long run. Getting stuff painted costs a lot of money! Well this Por touring 1968 Camaro has 10 out of 10 paint and is already looking good. Is there stuff we would do to it? Sure, we’d make a couple changes that fit our needs and personality, but otherwise this is one bitchin ride and can be yours for well under $40,000. Hmmmmm, what does a new Prius cost? Depending on the model you get it is either going to cost exactly what you pay for this Camaro on up to about $4,000 more. We have a winner! I’ll take the Pro Touring 1968 Camaro for $35,000 Alex!

I brought this car from Arizona and selling it because I want a newer Camaro (would trade for 1LE or ZL1)

True pro-touring Camaro that is “go” as much as it is “show”. Handles great and has plenty of power. Don’t expect the soft floaty ride that a stock Camaro would.

-Clean Title
-Original V8 car.
-Body work is nearly perfect and paint
is a 10/10 except for one 1/4″ diameter chip on the inside edge of the trunk. Parts were removed for paint (hood, trunk, spoiler, etc) and painted individually for full coverage. Subframe is undercoated.

-C6 corvette disk brakes front and back. Hawk performance brake pads.

-Full front ridetech suspension.
– Tru Turn which eliminates bump steer and allowed for a 275 front tire. Current 245s front and 275s rear.
– Ridetech strong arm control arms
upper and lower.
-adjustable stage 2 coilovers. Adjust ride height and shock stiffness.
-Rear hotchkis 1.5″ lowering multileaf springs.

-Saginaw 800 quick ratio steering box, probably the most sought after steering box. Road racing people and offroaders alike both want this box.

-Narrowed Ford 9″ rear end with tru-trac. Ready for mini-tub. Allows for smaller offsets for the deep-dish look.

-LQ9 6.0 with LS3 top end mild cam. 450+ Horsepower. See Receipt in above link for cam specs.

-Full working air conditioning.

-4L80E, skipping 2nd gear. Possibly needs shift tables adjusted (any tuner can do this). I never fixed because I was planning to do a T56 swap.

The Bad
-Electronic radiator fan only comes when AC is on. So hooked up a switch to manually turn on the fan.

-The shifting issue as mentioned above. Price is reflective of the worst case scenario of transmission rebuilt. Not a problem if you plan to do a manual swap.
Condition
Used (normal wear)

I tried to give as much detail as possible so please only contact if you are a serious buyer.
$38K
