This Supercharged IROC Convertible Would Be A Great Driver

We dig 3rd Gen Camaros around here. We know all the bad things everyone can say about them, but we still like them. They look cool. They are cheap. They are super easy to modify and make great on the autocross, road course, or drags strip. And they make cool drivers as well. This particular 1988 IROC Convertible has low miles, a Paxton Supercharger kit, and is clean as can be. It’s lowered, has several performance parts, and is an all around hot rod for only $6500. Sure it needs some roll over protection to go quick on the dragstrip, or to go run around the road course, but we’re cool with that. We’d make a simple bolt in setup that could come out for weekly driving and would protect us when we needed it for weekend racing events.

Here is what the seller has to say about this cool ride.

I recently got married and purchased a new home. With that said; being the original owner for 28 years I’ve finally decided it’s time to sell the car.

    1. The ‘Blowby’ is from using a Stock 305 with a supercharger. Build a 350 with 7.0 to 1 pistons and Very good rings, then the engine will make ‘some power’

    2. I see Lamp Cord & 12-2 (yellow) house wire. The car has wiring issues.

    3. Someone hacked the console for that alpine keep pad.No telling was the toggle switch under the guard (red cover) is. Yet I am sure the car has pecker tracks from a ill installed N20 system.

    4. Ill wager it’s been wrecked before.

Summery: it’s a $4,000 project car. It needs $10K put in to it. Then after that you might get $15-25K if you can get it in a high end auction.
