There is something about a Mini that just speaks to people. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t think they are cool, even if they don’t particularly want to own one. I do want to own one actually, and think it would be a killer little car to drive around daily. Not liking a Mini is like not liking dogs. I don’t trust, nor like, people that don’t like dogs. Maybe I should make the same statement towards people that don’t like Minis. Hmmm.

This particular Mini is a 1979 Austin Mini featuring 850 cc’s of pissed of Mini power under the hood. Or bonnet as they would say in the U.K. where this car is from. It isn’t a right hand drive conversion like some you’ll see here. It’s been painted, since the engine bay is red from original paint, but we like the color. We dig the fender flares too, but we’d lower it a bit and throw a bigger wheel and tire combo on it. Probably with some minilites. These cars are amazingly roomy inside when you consider just how small they are on the outside.

COULD USE SOME NEW TIRES FOR LONGER TRIPS OTHER THAN CITY DAILY DRIVING. SPARE TIRE HAS NO WHEEL. ALL GLASS GOOD —- ALL WINDOWS CRANK NICELY AND INTERIOR IS LIKE NEW WITH THE ORIGINAL STYLE FABRIC. BACK SEAT COMFORT FOR TWO ADULTS BETTER THAN MUSTANGS OR CAMAROS.
