This weekend Speed Ventures is holding an event in Sonoma at the famed Sears Point, okay they don’t call it that anymore but it will always be The Point to us so shutup. And next weekend you can run the road course at both Willow Springs AND California Speedway, plus their are having their usual giant autocross at California Speedway as well. So there is no reason to mope around saying that you don’t have somewhere to race when Speed Ventures is putting on this much stuff and if you are new to their events you can get as much as $30 off! We’re excited because they are running the Big Track at Willow, which is one of our favorites!

Hell, we might see if we can score a good Camaro rental car, or sucker errr convince the GM guys to give us something to go play with for the weekend!

Sonoma Raceway

Our annual pilgrimage to Sonoma Raceway is almost here. Join us on the trek north to one of the world’s great road courses.

In addition to open lapping nirvana, we will also have a Wheel-to-Wheel race group running both days that will include official races for SuperMiata and the Speed Ventures Cup. Contact us if you want to run W2W with SV.

Time trial competitions include the Cadillac Challenge both days and the Miata Challenge and Bimmer Challenge on Sunday.

Join us at WSIR and continue studying the track that takes a moment to learn and a lifetime to master. With just nine turns, Big Willow is deceptively simple. But putting together a great lap takes patience, concentration, and more than a little bit of gumption—especially in high-speed turn 9.

Roval @ Auto Club Speedway

We’re back in Fontana for one day of high-speed fun on the Roval at Auto Club Speedway. For those who don’t know where the term “Roval” comes from, it’s an ancient word that was used by the native Cahuilla tribe … just kidding, it’s a clever mashup of Road Course and Oval.

We’ll be running our On Track Performance Driving School, so first-timers are welcome.

AutoX @ Auto Club Speedway

On Sunday the 14th we’ll also be hosting our famous AutoX in the parking lot, so you can get your fill of cone dodging action. Best of all, our team takes care of the cone shagging so you don’t have to.

Bring your friends and some lawn chairs and enjoy a day of high-speed fun. And don’t forget the Carte Blanche option which allows you to run in all the groups so you only have to take a break when you want to.
