Urchfab’s Mongrel Project, where a Ford 100E body is being combined with the unibody of an MX5 Miata, is moving forward like none other. We’re talking lots of work and lots of progress and it sure is fun to watch it all coming together. This week’s work includes rust repair, rocker replacement, filler panels, and also wheel tubs. None of this work looks hard because it is being repaired so simply, but don’t for a second think that making things this nice is easy. Just like Urch, we sometimes forget this project is a track day car and not a show car. The metal work being done is pretty darn nice.
