(Photo courtesy of Alfa Romeo) Ryan Finch is the dude that showed up at the USCA race in Michigan this year and handed a bunch of dudes their asses in a car that quite frankly isn’t impressive at all to look at. It’s a plain Jane 4th Gen Camaro. I like 3rd and 4th Gen Camaros, but this one is just not eye-catching. Until the scoreboard lights up that is. Ryan is a bad ass in the thing. And it has tweaks, they are just things you don’t “see” if you don’t really look. It’s stupid fast, and it’s not just the car. Well we’ve run a couple of Ryan’s videos for our ACED: AutoCross Every Day series, and when he sent this one it made us giggle. You see, this is Ryan driving a new Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition. This is car #355 of 500 and if you aren’t familiar these cars are crazy little monsters. They are ultra lightweight and have only 10.4 lbs for each horsepower, which is pretty awesome in this day and age, and the Launch Edition is all about handling. It’s got all the upgrades and in a move that is really strange now a days the folks at Alfa Romeo actually brought out the trick version before the base model. Yeah, you can get a base model 4C as well, but Alfa started with the cool ones here in the States first. We dig that.
So it’s odd that Ryan is driving something Italian. But here is proof. Watch his hands, this thing looks like it’s a riot.
