The Autocross Course at Camarillo Airport is bitchin. It’s long, has high speed and low speed technical sections, and is a riot to drive on. Plus, there is the fact that it’s on the end of an active runway so you get to see planes flying just over the top of your head coming in for a landing. When it first started, this was just a small group of people put together by Chris at JCG Customs and now there are people lining up to run there whenever possible. It’s a great time for sure, and is one of those courses that really lets you hone your skills and have some real fun. This is back when little import cars were still rear wheel drive which makes them cool.
