“The car only screams when you put your foot on the pedal” says Radu Muntean, a car designer with a serious passion for cool cars like his BMW 2002. We like someone that describes their car this way and love the fact that he drives this thing hard through the Southern California hills. The gang at Petrolicious put this video together and, as usual, hit it out of the park. Their videos are so simple, but so sexy, and absolutely put you in the frame of mind of the owner they are highlighting. This particular BMW has a cool story, a killer list of parts, and is a car that any hot rodder digs regardless of your favorite brand.

It’s funny, because while we’re used to showing you Mustangs and Chevelles, Camaros and Cudas, Fairmonts and Malibus and anything else American and rear wheel drive, a car like this BMW 2002 turns our heads when driving dow the road. We happen to see them more often here in SoCal than most places, but they are still super cool and for us fall into the same realm as the Datsun 510, Toyota Corona, and Dodge Colt. They are quirky, cool, and look like a riot to drive even if they only have half the normally required cylinders.
