With just 7 miles on the odometer, John Hennessey and his crew become the proud owners of a brand new 2017 ZL1 Camaro and we get a personal walk around and critique of the car from John himself, before he even gets the opportunity to drive it. He ends his praise with excitement over getting to drive it soon after. And drive it he does. While we only see the gauges, we can assume that John is somewhere on the Hennessey testing grounds, aka Lonestar Motorsports Park, going from 0 to 173 mph in just about 35 seconds. It’s fast, that’s for sure, and it seems to want to go faster without issue but hit the rev limiter. A taller tire or a gear change would certainly make this car much faster, and so will all the Hennessey voodoo that they’ll be throwing at it.
