Ridetech’s Bret Voelkel tore it up at the Midwest Muscle Car Challenge, along with a ton of other cool muscle cars, hot rods, and sports cars. His venerable 1969 Mustang is one to watch, and Bret always seems to wheel it with a bit of flair. For Bret, this car is like an old pair of jeans, and although it’s had a few makeovers over the years, he always seems to be fast in this thing right out of the box. And while Ridetech’s stables have a lot of cool cars in them, this one seems to hold a special place in Bret’s heart. Having ridden with him in this thing, and raced it ourselves, we understand.
Bret has a metric ton of laps at Putnam Park, where the road course portion of this event was held, and the Lingenfelter built big-inch Small Block Ford really seems to like the straights.
