A couple weeks ago the Goodguys was getting ready to start one of their hometown events in Pleasanton California. Meanwhile, Evan’s little Nova was sitting with a broken transmission after destroying the Muncie at an even in Pomona the previous weekend. Borrowing parts and pieces, and running all over town in search of spares, Evan was able to get the little Chevy II back together in time to haul it all the way to Pleasanton for the Goodguys Autocross event. And it’s a good thing he did! He kicked ass, and here is one of his runs.

I’ve been in this car on a run, in fact the one that broke the transmission, and I can tell you that it is a riot and it hauls some serious ass. This car pulls so hard and is a riot to ride in. Oh, and it’s powered by a 427 cubic inch stroker Small Block. NOT AN LS!
