I’m a big fan of cars with great patina as most of you know, but I’m an even bigger fan of cars with awesome history. When you combine the two, it’s awesomeness at every level and that is absolutely how it is with Zack’s 1968 Chevelle. This thing was a stock car that had a pretty impressive career and was known to be virtually unbeatable. It’s a legendary local car that is a real champion and after sitting for decades has been brought back to life on the street. And I’m not talking about it being restored and looking like a stock ’68 Chevelle, but rather a stock car that is now registered and insured for the street.
Sounds sorta like when someone takes a NASCAR cup car and puts it on the street, but in this case it is way cooler than that. Way.
