In standing start road racing, the first lap is often as excited or even more so than the last lap. Everyone is trying to move up from their starting position, and what better way than to get a holeshot on your competitors? How about driving way deeper than they do into turn one? Or how about threading the needle and putting your car in between two others where nobody thought you could fit? All of those scenarios, and more, played out in the first laps of all the races at the 82nd Member’s Meet at Goodwood. We’ve been sharing lots of video from the 82nd Member’s Meet, and for good reason. There is lots of action to share!

The first laps at Goodwood are always entertaining. The 82nd Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport did not let the side down as there was a lot of action in those first laps over the weekend. There is a lot on the line in those first few corners as it’s not an easy task at all to gain places around Goodwood. You’re going to want to hold your position as much as possible, so some defending moves can get a little frantic. Let the chaos commence!
