On December 27th we lost our friend, and hot rodding legend, Gary Meadors. It was tough news to hear for many many people around the world. And because of his huge reach, Gary’s family and Goodguys, have decided that a Celebration of Life is in order. Call it a wake, call it a memorial, call it what you like, it’s going to be hot rod central and it’s being held at one of northern California’s coolest car spots, The Blackhawk Museum! And yes, HOT RODS ARE WELCOME AND EXPECTED! This celebration of all things Gary will start at 1pm on February 14th at the Black Hawk Museum. We are planning to attend, and if anyone want to caravan from SoCal, email me at [email protected] and we’ll put something together.
Losing Gary sucks. It just does. But I smile knowing that he’d approve of having a bunch of hot rodders hanging out at Blackhawk telling stories about him. I can’t wait.
