Goodwood Sportscar Racing At Its Finest: 81 Minutes Of Wire To Wire Action During The 2024 Peter Collins Trophy Race

Goodwood is arguably one of the most bitchin looking race tracks on the planet. While we LOVE Road America, the National Park of Speed, there is an undeniable attraction to Goodwood and the unbelievable setting that has become oh so famous and popular over the years.  Check out the video below that features the race for the Peter Collins Trophy in its entirety.

Video Description:

We have a little treat for you as we’re within a month of the return to racing at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. With the 82nd Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport around the corner on April 12th – 13th, we can relive one of the best races from last year to get us in the mood.

Arguably the prettiest race at any Members’ Meeting, the Peter Collins Trophy is a race for sportscars that competed between 1948 and 1955. These beautiful machines provide the quintessential Goodwood experience, and the exact sorts of cars seen racing at the wonderful Goodwood 9 Hours of the early 1950s. Peter Collins, after whom the race is named, was a legendary British racing driver who can count the inaugural 1952 9 Hours among his many victories in grand prix and sportscar racing. Collins drove one of three Aston Martin DB3Ss entered to victory from further back than tenth on the grid through a combination of consistency, mechanical sympathy and rival attrition.
