I know that seeing an Oscar Meyer Weinermobile is supposed to be a throwback to innocent times, where toy Weenie Whistles and tasty hot dogs meant good times for all. Which is why every time I write something about a Weinermobile doing anything on BangShift, I’m honestly forcing myself to remain clean-minded. Call me immature all you want, I’m just speaking the truth. It’s always an event when a Weinermobile appears. Whether you see one rolling down the highway or are at a location where a mobile weenie and two of Oscar Meyer’s “hotdogger” employees (near-graduate college kids who drive a Weinermobile around) are spreading good cheer. Most mobile weenies are based on either a custom RV chassis or the GM W-series truck chassis, like the one you’ll see in this clip. Keep that in mind…GM W-truck. Isuzu Elf. Cab-forward medium-duty unit.
Having the Weinermobile at the Corvette Invasion at Circuit of the Americas in Texas makes sense. You have a captive audience of Corvette fans who all probably have great memories of seeing one of the Weinermobiles as a youth and could use a snack. But whoever talked the crew of this unit to driving on COTA’s track surface at any speed should be commended, and bless the man behind “Normal Guy Supercar” on YouTube for getting the footage of this. You know how much I like seeing inappropriate vehicles used in odd situations, and there is nothing odder than watching a whole lot of fiberglass passing what is still probably the fastest weiner moving.
Phew…another Weinermobile story without any real innuendo. I’m on a roll here!

It’s wiener, wiener, wiener, not weiner, that is the pervert from NYC. Hmm, spellcheck missed that one Taggs?
