When the Goodwood Festival of Speed first started, it was nothing like it is today. In fact, it has changed dramatically over the past 10 years or so. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t cool then, or isn’t cooler now, it just grew a lot and is very different than it started. 1995 was also a huge year for British motorsports and the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed will be celebrating the 1995 season. Carl Fogarty, Colin McRae, the McLaren F1 at Le Mans all successful in 1995 among other British triumphs. 30 years ago the Festival of Speed was in its 3rd year and it looked a lot different.
