I’ve been fortunate enough to see some pretty cool private car collections over the years, so when there are collection owners willing to let someone share them on the internet I always like to check them out. There are so many folks with amazing rides that the public has never even seen. I have been in some nondescript warehouses that would rival and surpass some of the best museums in the world, but they are just for their own personal enjoyment. That’s kinda cool too, but thankfully AJ Henriksen wants to share this one with all of you. Check it out.
Video Description:
The Engineered Components Co warehouse in Elgin Illinois houses a large collection of vintage NASCAR race cars. AJ Henriksen shows us what they have stored inside such as this Days of Thunder Cole Trickle Lumina!
AJ Henriksen raced in the ARCA series for a long timed has long been associated with NASCAR veteran Bob Schacht (who also makes an appearance in this video!) AJ and Bob run the Grand National Super Series, which some of you may know that is the series that I am competing in this year with the former JGR Monte Carlo I just finished building. The ECC headquarters here used to be home to Chicago Armor and Limousine until 1999. Much of the limousine assembly line components are still visible in the shop today!
