Everyone loves a good underdog story. It’s why David and Goliath, Jack and the Beanstalk, Bugs and the tortoise, and so many more examples are in children’s stories. But those underdog stories go well beyond children’s fables and cartoons, and right into the motorsports world as well. In fact, some of the greatest legacies in motorsports started out as underdog stories. After all, everyone has to start somewhere.
But what about JOTA? Do they qualify as one of the best underdog stories? Follow along in the video below and then let us know what you think in the comments section below.
Video Description:
One of the highlights of the 82nd Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport will, without a doubt, be the first UK laps of a modern Hypercar. JOTA will be running a current Cadillac V-Series R Hypercar around the Goodwood Motor Circuit. You heard that right. The 5.5-litre V8 Hypercar will be flying around our circuit at the hands of Alex Lynn and Will Stevens.
The #82MM audience will get to hear that legendary change from electric to V8. In the build-up to 82MM, we went to visit JOTA at its humble factory in the English countryside. As we walked through the factory, we were almost tripping over the trophies. They’re everywhere. And after speaking to the passionate team partners and directors, Sam and David, it’s not hard to see why it’s successful.
